Thanksgiving..Check. Christmas...Check. And it's almost a new year. I love the holidays, everything about them. The hustle and bustle, the Christmas music. A stranger opening the door for you as they give you a slight smile and say "Merry Christmas", or "Happy Holidays". The Holidays make me a nicer and more giving person.
But I've got to say, I'm glad it's over and I am so ready to start the new year! School is out for the moment, and I want to focus on my photography for a while. I've got time on my hands, and would love nothing more than to take your photo! Family portraits, Child portraits, or Boudoir portraits for you ladies who want to get your Valentine something special!

Boys will be boys...
I spent this weekend with some friends up on Blue Mountain. They folfed while I watched the action! I can't help but find humor in their eager faces as they take a few forceful steps and LAUNCH the folf disc as hard as they can. And then the faces that are made as they watch where their folf disc is going trying to urge it into another direction. And as I said, boys will be boys. Arguing over who is winning and by exactly how much. All I could do was giggle and shake my head.

FALL in LOVE!
Oh I am so excited about this engagement session. For one this couple was amazing! They were fun to hang out with and talk to about their future wedding. It is so much fun to watch two people in love think and plan their future. And two, the fall colors couldn't be more vibrant! We strolled around Renough Park, just taking in our beautiful fall weather. The yellows, Reds, Oranges and Greens couldn't have contrasted each other more beautifully. Enjoy!

Family Time!
I got to play with another one of my favorite families over the weekend. Our Crazy Montana weather gave us a beautifully sunny, 80 degree day. Although we had a wonderful time, the family could not help but feel something was missing. The blue bird and 5th blue balloon signifies the loss of their beautiful baby girl. Although they did not get to spend a significant amount of time with little Norma Jean, she is loved, cherished and adored by her family. I love you guys and my thoughts are always with you.

It's a BOY!
A BABY! I am absolutely in LOVE with this family. I consider them my own. Without further adieu, my new "nephew" Tayven Royce. A beautiful wonderful baby boy! He is absolutely perfect and I completely enjoyed every moment photographing this little one. Not to mention his parents are good company. Enjoy...

Erik's Senior Portrait
I am so excited about this photo session! I have never taken so many photos that I was absolutely in LOVE with! Honestly, that says it all. Most of these shots were taken at his home, but we moseyed on over across the highway because I spotted a shed I liked. And he was all about it! Sneaky sneaky! I gotta say most boys are awkward to photograph, but this guy was a natural! What a wonderful face!
